Cadillac Festival of the Arts 2010

2010 Cadillac Festival of the Arts

What an exciting day it was unveiling my art to friends and family. Couldn't have asked for better weather during my first art show.

Thank you to all who stopped by and to the new friends I made. Your support has been incredible!

This was a favorite of many.

This is my first piece that sold!

Thanks go to my Dad and Uncle John for making this custom frame for Michigan Mosaics and also for the structure inside the tent to hang my art. THANK YOU!!!

The piece on the left was on the cover of the Delphi Glass Spring 2010 catalog.

Summer Sail on the right was displayed at 5/3 Bank in downtown Cadillac this spring. There is a beautiful collection of area artists in the bank's lobby. Check it out!

Many of you showed interest in taking a class and signed up. It will probably take place sometime this winter if possible. I will be sure and contact you with details as they become available.

I look forward to seeing you all again next year! Enjoy the rest of this wonderful summer....Sherrie

Made a little more progress today. Birch trees, sand, and some foliage are on. Water and more foliage next.

Have a Blessed Day, God Loves You!

This weekend I started another window to be a continuation of the other below with the sail boat. Big Sable Point Lighthouse in Ludington, Michigan will be my focal point.

Lighthouse glued onto vintage glass window.

Now it's time to add the birch trees, foliage, and Lake Michigan.

This mosaic I recently did reminds me of Michigan summers up north. Lazy days where time has no meaning, but family means everything.
